Rubber seals used in irrigation structures

manufactures a wide range of rubber center-bulb, vertical and companion backstop water stop, music note, hump and flat dam gate seals. These are designed to retain water, prevent water penetration, or limit contaminated run off in civil engineering applications. The inherent elasticity and resilience of Rubber Concept gate seals allow it to retain its sealing effectiveness in situations where there are fluctuating movements caused by water pressure, traffic, subsidence or seismic movement. Unlike thermoplastic materials such as PVC, rubber seals remain dimensionally stable and functionally effective over many years whilst handling movement far in excess of the capability of PVC. Rubber seals provide superior resistance to chemical attack and heat degradation. Quality of Rubber Concept dam gate seals are very well accepted by various Government and private agencies. We have supplied numerous Gate seals for no. of dams across Gujarat and India. Our gate seals are also been accepte...

irrigation dams

main purpose of the dam is to store water for irrigation, supply water as per requirement of farmers, every dam has a flow controllling devise, call it as gates , gates are made radially and vertically as per design of dam.radial shutters controls the flow water in to the river,in of of the side there are sluice or intake gates for controlling flow in to the canal from there it flows to irrigated areas, in the passage of canal there are different type of canal shutters are there.

Differential Gear System in Automobiles

A differential gear is an arrangement of beveled gears in such a manner such that the input torsion is taken up by a ring gear and distributed equally through two planetary gears to the side gears which drive the shafts on either side. One of the common applications of differential gears is in automobiles. Consider a vehicle following a curved path. As one can easily imagine, the inner wheel covers a shorter distance than the outer wheel. In case the system consists of only a single shaft connecting the inner and outer wheel, both the wheels are forced to turn at the same angular momentum and hence makes turning difficult leading to slippage and binding of tires. In addition to this, the strain on the inner wheels is passed on to the outer wheels through the axle putting undue strain on it. This problem is solved by using the differential gear system. In this, the power of the engine is transferred through a drive shaft and pinion arrangement to the ring gear and the torque is furt...
