Rubber seals used in irrigation structures

manufactures a wide range of rubber center-bulb, vertical and companion backstop water stop, music note, hump and flat dam gate seals. These are designed to retain water, prevent water penetration, or limit contaminated run off in civil engineering applications.

The inherent elasticity and resilience of Rubber Concept gate seals allow it to retain its sealing effectiveness in situations where there are fluctuating movements caused by water pressure, traffic, subsidence or seismic movement.

Unlike thermoplastic materials such as PVC, rubber seals remain dimensionally stable and functionally effective over many years whilst handling movement far in excess of the capability of PVC. Rubber seals provide superior resistance to chemical attack and heat degradation.

Quality of Rubber Concept dam gate seals are very well accepted by various Government and private agencies. We have supplied numerous Gate seals for no. of dams across Gujarat and India. Our gate seals are also been accepted as Hydrogates in power supply.


Musical Note Seal 
Musical Note Seals are of two types:

  • Hollow Bulb
  • Solid Bulb


Hollow Bulb seals are recommended for gates operated upto 15 Mtrs, while Solid bulb are used for heads from 15 Mtr to 30 Mtr heights


At Rubber Concept, Specially designed Rubber compound, which meets IS: 16855 standard, are used for the manufacturing of Musical Note Seals. These Seals are manufactured by step moulding method, which ensures compact microstructure and longer service life.


We have developed number of moulds for different sizes of Musical Note seals, to be manufactured by step moulding method.
Z-Type Rubber Seal 
These z-type rubber seals are moulded to the required shape and the sealing effect is obtained partly due to initial interference with the embedded sealing plate and partly due to the deflection under load. This type of seal is used on gates on the cresis of dams and weirs.

We have developed number of moulds for different sizes of Z-seals, to be manufactured by step moulding method.

A differential gear is an arrangement of beveled gears in such a manner such that the input torsion is taken up by a ring gear and distributed equally through two planetary gears to the side gears which drive the shafts on either side. One of the common applications of differential gears is in automobiles. Consider a vehicle following a curved path.
